Born in Istanbul in 1970, Ersoy Matraş discovered his passion for craftsmanship when he spent time in his father's workshop in Beyoğlu from the age of five, and dedicated his life to this passion.

After graduating from Bilkent University's Department of Interior Architecture, he focused on leather goods, leather accessories, shoes and saddle making at Cordwainers College within the London College of Fashion (LCF) between 1991-1994 , and took his design and workmanship skills in this field to the highest level.

He has created his own unique style by combining the theoretical knowledge he received in prestigious educational institutions in London with his internship experiences in world-famous leather brands in France. The fact that the harness he made at his school's final exhibition was purchased by Princess Anne was a source of pride for him .

Ersoy Matraş, who is the child of a family that has been operating in the leather industry for many years, has created a brand under the name of ''SARACHANE'' by combining his family heritage and his own passion.
